Gentle tasting, hand-made ice cream made from the bounty of the land.
The preservative-free ice cream is made from fresh milk from dairy cows raised on the crystal-clear spring waters that flow underground from Lake Mashu. You can enjoy two flavors with the Double (390 yen). We selected the sweet and refreshing Mashu blue and Mashu melon made of locally-grown melons.
The ice cream is scooped into a cup or a cone after receiving an order. Not only the flavor, but also the coloring is vibrant and beautiful.
The left side is a Single (300 yen) of Mashu buckwheat and buckwheat fruit. The savory taste of roasted buckwheat spreads in your mouth. The right side is natural-tasting soft-serve ice cream, Special milk (350 yen), which is also very popular.
There is a roomy eat-in space in the shop. Many fans come for the ice cream made using plenty of local ingredients, invented by Tomoki Kamikojima, the shop manager. You can watch a DVD showcasing the natural world around Lake Mashu while eating ice cream.
