A popular sweet from an established manufacturer in Hokkaido reinvented as ice cream.

Marusei butter sandwich, a major staple souvenir from Hokkaido, is made into a frozen sweet. One-bite-size Marusei ice cream sandwich (220 yen). The ice cream is made with butter, white chocolate, and raisins and has a flavorful sweetness. It is assembled between biscuits when it is ordered to ensure it is fresh and crisp. Special sweet served only at coffee corners located in the Sapporo store and the Obihiro store.

The second restaurant of Parfait, Coffee, Sake, Sato, the originator of the shime-parfait, an “after drinking” parfait. Its staple menu item, Tea, yuzu citrus, and lychee (1,350 yen) uses matcha ice cream sweetened with wasanbon sugar, aromatic oolong tea cream, and lychee sorbet to finish with a refreshing aftertaste. Original ice cream made with an Italian machine is whipped to contain lots of air, so the texture is smooth.
